Once a week, I whip up a big batch of pumpkin waffles, let them cool, stick them in some freezer bags and pop ’em in the Frigidaire to enjoy in the days that follow. Below is the last of this week’s batch. I just let it warm up on my counter, in-bag, for 30 minutes on each side. Then I stick it back in the waffle iron for 1 minute, and it comes out perfectly.
I’m going to make my next big batch on Saturday. The apartment is sure to smell great the rest of the day.
